We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our dear friend, Dr Ron Murray. Ron had a long and illustrious career in CME-CPD and his contributions to medical education were invaluable. Ron was a longstanding friend of European CME Forum, authoring our annual conference reports for over a decade and enthusiastically guiding the meeting poster tours. He contributed to the Journal of CME as a dedicated board member and was a valued reviewer. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his kindness, sense of humour and warmth, and his presence will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

17th Annual European CME Forum: Tomorrow's world today
Registration is now open for 17ECF, which will take place 6–8 November 2024 at Hotel Meliá Avenida América, Madrid, Spain.
The theme for this year's meeting is 'Tomorrow's world today'. The aim of 17ECF is to review the current status of CME-CPD and provide practical guidance and education on developments, best practices and emerging themes, to help us reflect on and improve CME-CPD practices among education providers from medical societies, professional education providers, regulators, CME accreditors and supporting pharma companies.
Information about the agenda can be viewed on the 17ECF page and we will continue to update this as we develop the programme.
